Stray Kids became the first K-pop group to have all members attend the 'Met Gala'.
On May 6th (local time), Stray Kids made their debut at the '2024 Met Gala' held at the Metropolitan Museum in New York, USA. They are the first K-pop group to have all members invited.
The 'Met Gala' is the world's largest fashion charity fundraising event. It has been held annually on the first Monday of May since 1948. Each year, a specific costume theme is selected and celebrated with famous stars.
This year, along with Stray Kids, BLACKPINK's Jennie, Zendaya, Ariana Grande, Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth, Kendall Jenner, and others graced the event.
The dress code for this year's Met Gala was 'Garden of Time'. The red carpet was decorated with greenery plants. Stars showcased outfits that matched the theme.
Stray Kids collaborated with the brand 'Tommy Hilfiger'. The eight members wore coats and shirts embroidered with petal shapes. They also added detailed points such as flower-shaped gold buttons.
The eight members displayed graceful gazes on the red carpet. They also performed by casually taking off their overcoats.
Stray Kids will release their new digital single "Lose My Breath" on May 10th at 1 PM (May 9th, 12 AM US Eastern Time). Charlie Puth's featuring has garnered attention.
The new song was written, composed, and arranged by Stray Kids' producing team '3RACHA' (Bang Chan, Changbin, Han) and Charlie Puth. It expresses the unfamiliar emotions felt at the moment of first encountering someone.
This summer, Stray Kids will also perform as 'Triple Headliners' at major overseas music festivals. They will take the stage at 'I-Days' in Milan, Italy on July 12th.
On July 14th, they will perform at 'British Summer Time Hyde Park' in the UK. On August 2nd, they will connect with the audience at the 'Lollapalooza Chicago' headlining stage in the USA.
