RM of BTS has achieved a remarkable feat with a 5-year-old video.
On March 22, Big Hit Music announced that the music video for RM's solo track "Intro: Persona" from BTS's 6th mini album "Map of the Soul: Persona" surpassed 100 million views on YouTube at around 6 PM the previous day.
This is a significant milestone, especially considering the video's age.
RM released the song in 2019. The video itself is reminiscent of a science fiction movie, utilizing 2D graphic animation and 3D scanning to create a digital humanoid.
RM's performance is complemented by dynamic camera angles and motion capture technology, which brings his larger-than-life persona to life.
"Intro: Persona" samples the intro track beat from BTS's debut album "2 Cool 4 Skool."
It features guitar sounds, trap genre hip-hop rhythms, and organ.
They are expected to resume full group activities in the second half of 2025.
