"A Valuable and Precious Time"

MONSTA X member Minhyuk was officially discharged from the military on the 3rd.

After enlisting in the 5th Infantry Division Recruit Training Center in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province, on April 4, 2023, Minhyuk completed approximately 18 months of service in the 5th Infantry Division and returned in good health.

Through his agency, Starship Entertainment, Minhyuk expressed, "I was able to grow a bit more as a person during my military service.

It was a valuable and precious time in my life." He also shared his gratitude towards his fans, saying, "Thanks to the support of MONBEBE (the official fan club), I was able to discharge healthily, both physically and mentally."

He further added,

"We recently celebrated the 9th anniversary of MONBEBE's founding. Even though the group had a long hiatus due to the members' military enlistments, I am extremely grateful to MONBEBE for always believing and waiting."

Speaking about his fellow members, he said,

"I felt immense strength knowing that I had a team to return to, thanks to Shownu and Changkyun (I.M), who kept the team going."

Fans waiting for Minhyuk

On the day of his discharge, Minhyuk is scheduled to hold a live broadcast on MONSTA X's official YouTube channel at 4 PM.

He plans to greet the fans personally and spend time interacting with them during this live broadcast.

Since their debut in 2015, MONSTA X has been recognized as a "trustworthy performance group," consistently showcasing their growth.

Before enlisting, Minhyuk was active in various fields, showing his versatility. He served as a regular MC on variety shows like SBS's "Inkigayo" and Naver NOW's "Vogue Ship Show." Additionally, he engaged with global fans through various activities, including photoshoots, brand modeling, and collaborative exhibitions.

Minhyuk's return is met with positive reactions from the music industry. One insider commented, "Minhyuk's return will heighten the anticipation for MONSTA X's complete group activities.

His versatile talents are expected to bring new energy to the group."

Minhyuk plans to meet with fans quickly after his discharge.

Following the live broadcast on the 3rd, he will hold the "2024 Minhyuk Fan Event 'Let's GO!5rae'" on the 6th at the Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjang-dong, Seoul. During this event, he will have time to interact directly with his fans.

Minhyuk's return is expected to significantly impact MONSTA X's future activities.
