On June 12, BTS will gather to welcome Jin as he completes his military service.
Known as the "oldest brother," Jin will be discharged from the military after 18 months of active duty, which began in December 2022. He served diligently, even earning the title of a special warrior.
There will be no official discharge ceremony, similar to his enlistment, which avoided any special events to prevent safety incidents.
The BTS members initially planned to greet him at the military base, but due to concerns about crowding, they will celebrate his discharge quietly at a location in Seoul.
After his discharge, Jin will start individual activities.
He will first attend the "2024 FESTA" and host a hugging event with 1,000 ARMY members. He is also planning to release a solo album later this year.
Next in line for discharge is J-Hope, who will complete his military service in October.
The full BTS lineup is expected to reunite after June next year.
