RM of BTS has hinted at an expanded musical world. He participated in writing all the songs on his upcoming album.
On the 18th at midnight KST, BTS's official SNS revealed the tracklist for RM's second solo album, "Right Place, Wrong Person."
The album contains a total of 11 songs. The title track is "LOST!", an alternative pop song with a fast tempo. Kim Han-joo of the band Silica Gel participated in composing it.
Through this song, RM delivers a hopeful message, "If you get lost with friends, it might be okay."
The track "Right People, Wrong Place" expresses inner confusion. "Nuts" calmly addresses the frustrations that can arise in human relationships.
"Out of Love" tells the story of someone who has lost faith in love. "Domodachi" is a song about the joy of dancing with friends.
"?" (Interlude) features flashy performance and variations. "Groin" honestly conveys what RM wants to say to those he dislikes.
"Heaven" is a song with a twist. Contrary to the romantic title, it tells the story of "Take my heaven away."
In "Around the World in a Day," RM sings about loving even your lies. "ㅠㅠ" is placed just before the final track, posing a question to the listener.
Contributors to the album include Kim Han-joo of Silica Gel, American jazz duo DOMi & JD Beck, American musician Moses Sumney, British rapper Little Simz, Oh Hyuk of the band HYUKOH, Guo Guo of Taiwanese band Sunset Rollercoaster, singer-songwriter Junkyard, and San Yawn of Balming Tiger.
RM's second solo album, "Right Place, Wrong Person," will be released on the 24th at 1 PM KST. It deals with universal emotions that anyone might feel at least once in their life, like an "outsider who doesn't fit in the place."
