Boy Next Door to Make Official Debut in Japan this July and Perform at "Summer Sonic"

Boy Next Door (BOYNEXTDOOR) will officially debut in Japan this July.

According to their agency KOZ Entertainment on May 6th, Boy Next Door (Sung Ho, Ryu, Myung Jae Hyun, Tae San, Lee Han, and Un Hak) will release their first Japanese single "AND," on July 10th and officially debut in the country.

"AND," will include Japanese versions of their Korean title tracks "One and Only" (from debut single "WHO!"), "But Sometimes" (from their 1st mini-album "WHY.."), "Earth, Wind & Fire" (from their 2nd mini-album "HOW?"), as well as an original Japanese song, for a total of four tracks.

Expectations are high for Boy Next Door's debut single "AND," as their 2nd mini-album "HOW?" released in Korea last month has been gaining immense popularity in Japan. With "HOW?", they achieved nearly double the first-week sales compared to their previous release, topping Oricon's Weekly Album Ranking and Weekly Combined Album Ranking charts (aggregated from April 15-21).

During the same period, they also topped Billboard Japan's "Hot Albums" chart and maintained the No. 1 spot on Japan's Line Music "Daily Album Top 100" for five days (April 17-21).

Moreover, Boy Next Door has been invited to perform at "SUMMER SONIC 2024", Japan's largest music festival. "Summer Sonic" is Asia's biggest urban music festival, attended by Japan's top artists as well as top musicians from around the world.

Even before their official debut in Japan, Boy Next Door has been invited to various festivals, showcasing their unique performances and stage presence that belies their rookie status. They have been receiving accolades at every performance, making a name for themselves, which led to them receiving an invitation to "Summer Sonic" even before their official debut.

All eyes are on Boy Next Door and the success they will achieve after entering the Japanese market, as they continue to show remarkable growth in various areas such as music releases and performances.
